Application Checklist

Some or all of the following information may be required depending on the nature of the application. Please contact Louth LEADER to clarify the information required to complete your application.

  1. (a) Completed application / business plan signed and dated by applicant   
    (b) Signed Schedule of Conditions.

  2. Two itemised quotations for each phase / all third parties engaged in the activity - at a minimum (For grant aid over €6,349 three itemised quotes are required):
     
    (a) from contractors, suppliers etc.  
    (b) for all new machinery / equipment to be purchased  
    (c) from any consultant engaged in the project.

  3. Existing Businesses   
    (a) Copy of the most recent audited accounts and associated notes
      
    (b) For accounts more than 9 months old, management accounts should also be presented   
    (c) Business Plan* - including a 2 year cashflow on a monthly basis,
    projected profit and loss accounts and a balance sheet

    New Businesses   
    (a) Business Plan* including a 1 year cashflow on a monthly basis,
    projected profit and loss accounts and a balance sheet.

  4. Letter from the Tax Office stating that the applicant is ineligible to reclaim VAT, if relevant.

  5. (a) Tax No. and declaration that tax affairs are in order - For grant aid of €635 - €6,347   
    Tax clearance Certificate for applicants and any associated third party employed - For grant aid of €6,349 or more.

  6. Evidence of matching funds.

  7. Evidence of finances to complete project.

  8. An indication that the relevant standards (e.g. Bord Failte, planning permission will be complied with).

  9. Site visit prior to commencement of work by Louth LEADER.

  10. Evidence of entitlement to land, buildings e.g. Title, lease   

    Community Groups
      
      (a) Copy of constitution  
      (b) Details of proposed voluntary labour (if relevant)   

    Limited Companies  
      (a) Memo and Articles  
      (b) List of members/directors.

  
*Additional information may be requested upon receipt of application / proposal e.g. relevant insurance requirements
