FETAC
The Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. It gives people the opportunity to gain recognition for learning in education or training centres.

FETAC was set up as a statutory body on 11June 2001 by the Minister for Education and Science. FETAC now has responsibility for making awards previously made by BIM, CERT*,
FÁS, NCVA (National Council for Vocational Awards) and Teagasc.

We currently run FETAC (NCVA) modules for FETAC Level 3 and FETAC Level 4.

ECDL
The ECDL Foundation is the global governing body of the world's leading end-user computer skills certification programme, the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), which is known as the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) outside Europe.

The ECDL establishes a standard for everyone who uses a computer in either a professional or personal capacity. It is a certificate that verifies competence in computer use. The ECDL syllabus covers 7 IT modules.

NUI
The National University of Ireland, Maynooth award the NUI Certificate in Training and Continuing Education. This course is organized through the Department of Adult and Community Education at Maynooth. Full details of the certificate are given under the NUI syllabus.

JEB
The Teacher’s Diploma in Information Techology Skills is awarded by the Joint Examining Board (JEB). Founded in 1912 and based in the UK, JEB offers a range of up to date qualifications to support ICT teaching and the skills development of staff in Further Education.
