Organisation: Tallanstown and Knockbridge Tidy Towns Committees Type of Project: Village and Countryside Enhancement Projects - Tallanstown and Knockbridge Tidy Towns Committees are also beneficiaries of the RSS, and both areas have participants working towards helping these villages attain medals in the National Tidy Towns Awards. Mairead looks after the wildlife garden and sanctuary in the local park in Tallanstown, while Eithne cultivates, plants and tends the flowers and shrubs in Knockbridge. Work also takes place at Clonkeen Church & graveyard and around a number of church properties in the Carlingford area. |
